Heat Treat Furnace for Shafts and Tools
1. Application
The RT3-120-14 electric bogie hearth furnace is mainly used for
heat treatment of steel structure parts, cast steel parts, shaft bar
parts, tool steel products, etc.
2. Structural Introduction
The RT3-120-14 car bottom furnace is mainly comprised of furnace body,
lining, furnace door and door compression system, bogie, heating element,
and temperature control system.
2.1 furnace shell
The steel furnace body of the furnace for heat treatment of metals is made
from 6-8# sectional steel and 3-14mm steel plates. There is a layer of insulation
asbestos board at the furnace shell to reduce the temperature of the shell. The
asbestos board is pasted with aluminum silicate fiber cotton with temperature
resistance of 1000 degrees, to ensure that the temperature of the shell is less
than 50℃.
The heat treat furnace door is electrically lifted upward and downward by the hoist.
The outer surface of furnace shell is treated with environmental painting to
make it beautiful.
2.2 furnace lining
2.2.1 The heat treating furnaces and equipment lining is made of 75% AL2O3 mullite
bricks;
2.2.2 max temperature of furnace lining is 1400℃.
2.2.3 air hole rate: 5-6%;
2.2.4 thermal conductivity: KcaL/m.h.c>0.9;
2.3 insulating system of furnace body and bogie
The insulation material is close to the outside of the furnace lining and consists
of 4 layers.
1st layer: mullite bricks, heat resistance of 1400℃;
2nd layer: light high aluminum bricks, heat resistance of 1250℃;
3rd layer: aluminum silicate fiber cotton, heat resistance of 1100℃;
4th layer: diatomite brick, heat resistance of 900℃;
The layer that is close to the furnace shell is made of fiber cotton and asbestos
board, heat resistance of 500-800℃;
All the insulation layer is made of standard bricks with size of 230×113×65mm.
2.4 heating element
2.4.1 the heating element is made of U30 silicon carbide rod;
2.4.2 the heating element is divided into 2 zones.
2.4.3 the heating elements are distributed on both sides of furnace chamber and bogie.
18pcs silicon carbide rods for furnace chamber, 6pcs silicon carbide rods for bogie.
2.5 control cabinet
2.5.1 control zone: 2 zones;
2.5.2 PID automatic and program control;
2.5.3 over temperature power off function, over temperature sound off alarm function;
2.5.4 GGD cabinet with electrostatic spray;
2.5.5 Changzhou Huibang GR858P temperature controller;
2.6 temperature measurement system
2.6.1 the thermal couple is S type, platinum-platinum rhodium core;
2.6.2 sheath of thermal couple: corundum tube;
