Industrial Large 500KW Hot Dip Galvanizing Furnace with XG 08 Zinc Kettle
1.Composition
The hot dip zinc galvanizing furnace is comprised of ① refractory cover plate,
② XG-08 zinc kettle , ③ support bar , ④ refractory/insulation layer,
⑤ furnace shell, ⑥ U-shaped structure, ⑦ flue port, ⑧ burning system, and
⑨ ceramic fiber blanket layer.

3.Introduction to Each Unit
3.1 cover plate
The hot dip galvanizing furnace is designed so as to achieve an excellent
heat preservation effect of the furnace, and also consides the factors such
as the form of operation platform, the thermal deformation of zinc kettle,
the convenience in installation and removal of the cover plate, and the form
of the flange. The thickness of each fireproof plate is 50mm, using three
layers of it can obtain the best heat insulation effect at a temperature of 1400 ℃.
3.2 zinc kettle
The zinc kettle is made of XG-08 material which is a paticular material to
meet the process requirement in hot dip galvanizing process.
3.3 support bar
The hot dip galvanizing furnace is designed with 310S stainless steel
support bar with a diameter of 100mm. It can prevent the zinc kettle from
being deformed by heat.
3.4 furnace bottom refractory/insulation layer
Considering the load-bearing capacity of the furnace bottom, the heat
insulation of the concrete foundation, the design of the zinc drain channel
and the layout of the flue, the furnace bottom is made of refractory bricks
and refractory mortar.
Insulation layer is composed of 1260℃ resistant ceramic fiber blankets.
It has the characteristics of good thermal insulation, no thermal expansion
stress, lightweight, easy installation, and maintenance.
3.5 Furnace lining
The hot dip galvanizing furnace lining is made of ceramic fiber blankets
and modules. From the furnace bottom to the top, place one layer of
modules and then one layer of the folded blanket to compensate for the
possible shrinkage between the modules. From the inner side to the steel
wall, the thickness is 400mm for one module is 350mm, and two blankets
in 30mm are compressed to 50mm.
After heat transfer calculation, the temperature at the interface with the
backing fiber blanket is lower than 700℃. The backing fiber blanket can
fully meet the thermal insulation performance which can reduce the
overall cost of the furnace lining.
3.6 U-shaped steel shell
The hot dip galvanizing furnace is composed of H-beams and steel
plates. The H-beam column of the furnace body is 300*300, and
the steel plate thickness of the furnace wall is 10mm. The H-beam
column is welded to the pre-embedded H-beam, and both sides
of the furnace are made of U-shaped support to strengthen the
furnace body.
3.7 Flue gas channel
The hot dip galvanzing furnace is designed according to the flame
speed of the burner, hot air diffusional resistance, convection and
radiation heat transfer efficiency, and in combination with the flue
gas stroke and path.
3.8 Flue port
It is made of ceramic fiber modules. The size and design position of
the flue outlet will affect the circulation, stroke, and speed of flue gas
in the furnace.
3.9 Zinc drain hole
The hot dip galvanizing furnace is composed of refractory bricks and
castable. The zinc drain hole is rectangular like a ditch. And there is
an alarm device, when leakage occurs, the control box displays zinc
leakage alarm.
