8000Ton Per Year XG08 Zinc Kettle Hot Dip Galvanizing Process Plant Line for Low Carbon Wire
1. Application
This hot dip galvanizing production line is suitable for continuous annealing and hot galvanizing of low carbon steel wire. Considering that the customer has a plan to produce high carbon hot-dip galvanized steel wire in the later stage, it can also be compatible with production, and there is no need to build a new production line.
2. Main process technical parameters
2.1 Production process flow
A) Low carbon wire hot dip galvanizing process: uncoiling--- annealing --- skin cracking --- pickling --- water rinsing --- hot water washing --- fluxing--- drying --- hot galvanizing --- wiping cooling --- wire taking up.
2.2 wire specification: ¢1.60---5.00mm
2.3 head number and output
According to the customer's requirements, the annual output is 8000 tons, and the hourly output is about 1500 kg based on ¢2.40mm. The linear speed is 20m/min, and the customer needs 28 heads.
2.4 fuel: electrical and gas combined;

4. Description to Each Unit
4.1 uncoiling stand
Rotating uncoiling stand:28 pcs;
4.2 Wire annealing furnace
·The online annealing furnace is 25m long, 2.0m wide in total and 1.40m wide, which is composed of multiple sections.
·Each furnace tube is let through with a wire, 28 wires in total.
·Fuel: natural gas
·Temperature control accuracy: ± 5 ℃
·Temperature control range of furnace: 600-1000℃, adjustable.
·The total number of heads is 28 pieces. The furnace bottom is supported by pipe frame.
·Light fire-resistant and thermal insulation materials are used, and the surface is closed by steel structure, with good thermal insulation performance.
·20 burners are arranged on the side, and the combustion control furnace temperature is adjusted in four sections in proportion.
4.3 Cooling and scale removing, 1 set
After the steel wire is discharged from the furnace for a period of air cooling, it shall be mechanically loosened and most of the oxide scales shall be blasted in the hot water tank.
4.4 Pickling and water cleaning, 1 set

Furnace structure: the zinc kettle is made of 50mm thick special steel plate, pressed and welded.
Zinc furnace effective size: 6000 * 1400 * 900mm (L*W*D).
Zinc capacity about 48t
Heating temperature control: staged proportional control combustion;
The press roll is special ceramic fixed type, and it is to be replaced once a year.
Lead out mode and cooling: Vertical leading out is adopted. Low carbon steel wire is wiped with asbestos block, and high carbon steel wire is wiped with charcoal+asbestos fiber+graphite chips. The cooling mode is water cooling.
4.9 wire taking up
The hot dip zinc galvanizing plant is equipped with 600 plum blossom upside down take-up is adopted, the power of single head traction motor is 4.0 kW, and the speed is adjusted by frequency conversion.
